Aaron Herwig CPFA®, MBA
For over 20 years, Aaron has methodically honed his craft and passion within his financial practice. As a wealth manager, Aaron works closely with clients, developing financial strategies for each stage of life. He’s quick to point out that no two clients are alike; therefore, the cookie-cutter approach is never in a client’s best interest. In fact, it’s quite the opposite. Aaron believes a holistic, individualized, and personal approach is necessary to design a client’s financial roadmap. Budgeting of income and expenses, savings, asset growth, tax strategies, and estate planning encompass his extensive planning process used to achieve the ultimate goal of a client’s financial wellness and peace of mind.
Aaron holds the CPFA® Designation, Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor. As a specialist in corporate retirement plans, Aaron designs, implements, and manages a variety of 401(K) plans for companies and their employees across the country. Prior to entering the financial industry, Aaron leveraged his BA in Human Biology to achieve a managing microbiologist position for an international laboratory. He assisted in the development and manufacturing of a variety of vaccines, including Salmonella, E. coli, Avian Influenza, and Swine Flu. In addition, Aaron had a unique opportunity to participate in and research the infancy of genetically engineered vaccines.
While remaining focused on his career, Aaron’s relentless quest for knowledge led him to Baker University, located in Baldwin, Kansas, where he pursued and was awarded his MBA, graduating second in his class. Outside of the office, Aaron enjoys spending time with his family. He and his wife Margo met while attending the University of Kansas. Together they have a son, Jordan, who’s a fourth-generation Jayhawk graduate.
Some of his favorite pastimes include traveling, attending live music concerts, golf, wine tastings, cooking classes and water sports. A loyal sports fan, Aaron enjoys Kansas City Chiefs football and Kansas Jayhawk basketball and football. With a new office in Las Vegas, he caught hockey fever and cheers on the Vegas Golden Knights. Aaron can also be found researching the ever-changing financial markets and the latest scientific discoveries that pertain to today’s world. Aaron looks forward to the opportunity to serve in a wealth advisory and financial planning capacity for clients and their families both now and for generations to come.
